The Georgia Family Planning System (GFPS) is the largest network of community-based health centers in the nation that fully integrates Title X family planning and primary healthcare services for women, men, and adolescents.


Georgia Family Planning System (GFPS) expands access to pregnancy planning and prevention services, reproductive health screenings, and other preventive health services in primary care centers which are vital to improving reproductive health outcomes and overall patient health.


Our mission is to deliver high-quality, affordable, and evidence-based care to women, men, and adolescents throughout Georgia regardless of race, gender, or income, including those whose main reason for seeking healthcare services may not be directly related to their sexual and reproductive health.

History

The Family Health Centers of Georgia, Inc, (FHCGA) is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) that has provided comprehensive primary care services in metro Atlanta for over 40 years. FHCGA became the Title X family planning program administrator for Georgia in 2014. The statewide family planning program was branded "Georgia Family Planning System" (GFPS).


Currently, GFPS is a network of 29 agencies with more than 183 health center sites throughout Georgia that collectively served more than 170,314 clients in 2021.
